Business Challenge SS Kemp wanted a way for Auto Quotes, the popular pc based quote tool to interact with their AS/400 based Distribusmart software. They wanted for information entered in AutoQuotes to automatically populate their customized Distribusmart databases for use in various reporting tools and business functions. |
Solution We wrote a nifty little program that sends information collected and entered in Auto Quotes to the AS/400 for use with Distribusmart software modules. Our solution allows SS Kemp to utilize AutoQuotes to begin the quote by building the product needs of the customer and Distribusmart to take over and finalize the quote, process the PO, create a sales order, print the pick-ticket and track the shipping. |
