Setting up a personal Blog at www.blogger.com

1.) Go to the free Blogger site at http://www.blogger.com

2.) Click the ‘Create Your Blog Now’ button. This will take you to the account setup page.

3.) Create Account Page:

• Choose a username, password, display name, and a valid email address.
• Read over the terms of service agreement and check the acceptance of terms check box.
• Click the ‘Continue’ button to continue to the next step.

4.) Name your Blog:

• Enter in a title description for your blog. Enter in your Blogger address it should look like this....
  ‘your-blog-title-goes-here@blogspot.com’ .
• Enter in the Word Verification.
• For advanced users Blogger gives you the option to host your blog. To learn more about this feature select the advanced features link and read more. If you’re not sure if you can host your blog it is recommended to select the first option.
• Once you have entered in all required fields select the ‘Continue’ button.

5.) Choose a Blog Template:

• Select the blog Template that you like the best. Click the preview link to preview the blog template.
• Click the ‘Continue’ button to create your blog.
• A screen will display saying that Blogger is creating your personal blog and it will re-direct you to a screen that will say ‘Your blog has been created!’
• Select the ‘Start Posting’ button. Until you create your first post you will not be able to view your blog. If you want to view your blog after you create your first post select the ‘View blog’ tab from the top menu.

6.) Administration Page

• After you select the ‘Start Posting’ button you will be taken to the administration page where you can start using your new blog. (If you don’t like the template you have chosen you can always select a different one later or even design your own.).
• Enter in a post description, title and then select the ‘Publish Post’ button.
• Take some time to get familiar with this administration section. Here you can learn how to utilize all the great features that Blogger has to offer.
• Congratulations you now have your very own free personal blog!
