How does pay per click SEO work? |

Pay per click SEO works by the site owner selecting very specific and targeted keywords and phrases. Those words are then "purchased" through services such as google and overture at a price completely determined by marketplace competition. For instance, to place first for the word "cookie" you might have to pay $5.50 per click, but for the phrase "chocolate chip cookie" you may only have to pay $0.05 per click. A more targeted market usually means a lower price per click. Then when a user types into a search engine any of your purchased words your results display in the order of your purchase rank. You have not been charged so far. Only when a user phsyically clicks on your link from a search engine results page will you be charged the price you agreed to pay per click. |
